The greatest open-door festival in Bilbao
Open House is an international architecture and design festival that was first held in London by Victoria Thornton in 1992. Over the last few years, the festival has spread to other cities at the cultural forefront of architecture and design. For 48 hours a year, the doors of different buildings in the city are opened free of charge, with the aim of promoting design and architecture among the public under the motto “48 hours to discover the city together”.
Now in the 7th year of OPEN HOUSE BILBAO, the University of Deusto will be joining this initiative once again, opening its doors to residents and visitors interested in getting to know our university’s historical and artistic heritage.
The University of Deusto offers three separate tours depending on the building you wish to visit: The Literary building, La Commercial building, the Library-CRAI. All the visits will take place on Saturday 7 October, in the morning and afternoon in the case of the Literary and La Comercial buildings and in the morning only for the Library-CRAI.
