Research Day 2023

DeustoTech, the research institute associated with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto, will hold its first “Research Day” on the 20th of January 2023 in a morning session. The aim of the event is to create a meeting space for research groups to present their strategy, exchange experiences and identify potential collaborations.

Research Day 2023 will begin with an update on DeustoTech’s activities by its Director, Iñaki Vazquez. We will also have the participation of a Keynote Speaker, Joaquín Sevilla, who will give a talk on the importance of scientific dissemination in society. The title of the talk is: “And now we have to disseminate?”, which will be broadcasted in the following link. Afterwards, each research group will have the opportunity to show their trends, relevant projects or significant advances in the last year. As a final touch, photos will be taken by each research group to be used later on the website of the University of Deusto and we will enjoy a networking coffee.

For the moment, about 70 people will meet in the Garate room.

The Research Day is an important event for DeustoTech and the Faculty of Engineering that will be held annually to promote the dissemination of activities and collaboration between research groups.
