SummerCamp 2015: course for professionals in education

The San Ignacio School and the University of Deusto, through the Loyolanet Foundation, will be holding the fifth edition of this three-day intensive course for all professionals in educational establishments of the Society of Jesus next 6, 7 and 9 July at the San Sebastian campus, University of Deusto.


 The aims of this training plan based on Design Thinking are:

– Instil a sense of initiative and creativity in people and learn about inspiring examples.

– Prompt a personal transformation leading to a more innovative and enterprising behaviour for a major cultural change in educational establishments in the 21st century.

– Learn by doing and sharing, using innovative teaching tools.

– Networking to apply day-to-day learning in each school.

This course combines plenary sessions and discussion on the educational work, challenges and student profiles in the 21st century, personal leadership, themed leisure activities and specific work in two field options of each participant:

– Innovative Leadership Workshop for executive team members.

-Methods to make innovation part of the culture of the educational establishment, creating a wide range of possibilities and rethinking spaces, the organisational system and work dynamics.

– Design For Change Workshop, for teachers at all stages of education.

-Methods to help students play the leading role of change around them through interdisciplinary and cross-sectional projects.
