University Dialogic Seminar

The University Dialogic Meeting “Con el libro en la mano” is an interdisciplinary seminar where we share and discuss great classical works from various fields of knowledge. By discussing readings from multiple perspectives, Dialogic Meetings offer a diversity of interpretations based on egalitarian dialogue.

People from any field of knowledge can participate in the discussion group. The only requirement to participate is to have previously read the text and selected some ideas, sentences or paragraphs to share.

In the next meeting, we will comment on the introduction and the first part of the book “El cerebro que cura” (Pascual-Leone, 2019). With more than 600 scientific publications, Pascual-Leone is an international benchmark in the field of non-invasive brain stimulation, being the most cited author on this subject worldwide. His contribution in this field has provided evidence to advance the treatment of various neurological and psychiatric conditions.

The book ” El cerebro que cura” (2019) brings together some of the keys to the research he is leading at the Barcelona Brain Health Initiative (BBHI), aimed at finding out and understanding how to maintain the health of our brain.
