39th AEDEAN Conference (Spanish Association for Anglo-American Studies)

Next 11-13 November, the University of Deusto will be holding the 39th AEDEAN Conference (Spanish Association for Anglo-American Studies), organised by the Department of Modern Languages and Basque Studies, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.

The programme includes plenary conferences, workshops and talks on topics related to linguistic and cultural aspects of English-speaking countries, as well as book presentations and roundtable discussions. Some of the keynote speakers at the conference include Geoffrey K. Pullum, Professor of Linguistics and English Language at the University of Edinburgh; Rosa Rabadán, Lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of León, David Río, Professor of American Literature at the University of the Basque Country in Vitoria; and David Bartholomae, Professor of Expository Writing at the University of Pittsburgh.
