This time, we have Alejandra O’Shea, co-owner of Mercules, who will deliver a talk titled:
From the Stability of Banking to the Challenge of Entrepreneurship: Decisions That Change Your Career and Life.
She will share how, upon finishing university, choosing a professional path is not always easy. In this talk, she will explain how, without planning it, after 10 years in investment banking, she decided to leave that world and start her own company, Mercules.
Alejandra will discuss the decisions made early in her career, unexpected twists, and the key learnings of entrepreneurship. She will also talk about the challenges and opportunities, from her perspective, of owning a business and how to face them.
In addition, she will share the lessons she has learned along the way, the mistakes she has made, and the recommendations she would give to anyone who wants to start their own venture.
