On 5 November, elections will be held in the United States, an event whose repercussions will transcend the country’s borders, and whose outcome will have a major impact on the future of geopolitics at a global level in the coming years.

Aware of the importance of this historic moment, DeustoForum is pleased to invite you to a dialogue between Aimar Bretos, renowned journalist and director of the programme Hora 25 on Cadena Ser, and David Coury, professor at the University of Wisconsin, who will help us to decipher issues related to national and international politics, campaign strategies and messages, media coverage and the electoral process.

In this sense, the dialogue will delve into how the campaign has changed since the replacement of Biden by Harris, how each candidate is running, how the voting system works in the USA, what are the so-called swing states, the most important issues at stake depending on the result, the influence of the result of the US elections on the rest of the world and who is going to win the elections, among others.
