Diploma award ceremony for the job training course for persons with disabilities

Next 12 June, the diploma award ceremony for the job training course for persons with intellectual disabilities will be held, organised by the Uribe Costa Association, in collaboration with the Master’s in Social Inclusion and Disability of the Faculty of Psychology and Education at the University of Deusto.

The programme, in which 13 students have taken part, started in September 2014 and has equipped participants with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to increase their employability and enable them to successfully enter the job market.

This ceremony will be attended by the 13 students, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Josu Solabarrieta, the managing board of Uribe Costa Association and the teaching and support staff on the programme.

All the students have done internships in several companies in Biscay. The programme has also been supported by Lanbide and the European Social Fund.

In addition, the course ends with the news of the recruitment of two of the students who did the internships.
