Engraving drawings at Deusto FabLab
To do this, we will show participants how the laser works, what must be taken into account when making a digital design for manufacturing and the machine settings to obtain different results to suit our needs.
Laser technology allows us to accurately cut and engrave the design we have in mind, much faster and without the limitations of manual work. It also allows us to reproduce it as often as we want.
The aim of this workshop is to enhance students’ technological skills so that they can make the most of them and apply them to their creations. For this reason, students must have digital design skills (Adobe Illustrator), as they will need to either create a simple drawing in a short time, or bring their own previously created drawings to be engraved on wood. The drawing format must be have a maximum size of 200 x 200 mm. Each student will take their creation home with them.
