2nd Summer Social Security Conference: “Challenges facing young people in employment relations and the social protection system”
On 15 July, the University of Deusto will host the 2nd Summer Social Security Conference, titled “Challenges facing young people in labour relations and the social protection system”, jointly organised by the University of Deusto (research group “Innovative legal initiatives and democratic governance for a fair, inclusive and sustainable society” within the Law School) and the Spanish Association of Health and Social Security (AESSS).
The conference may be attended in person in the Turing Room or online via Zoom.

We would like to highlight the opportunity to present papers either in person or online (in Spanish, Basque, French, English or Portuguese).
Abstracts may be submitted until 22 June 2026 via the link provided. Registration (free of charge) for the conference is required. On 12 June 2026, the organisers will notify participants by email of the acceptance of abstracts selected for presentation at the conference and subsequent publication.
Keynote lectures and accepted presentations will be published in a collective volume issued by Editorial Laborum, in both print and open access formats. For publication, full texts of accepted papers must be submitted by 13 July 2026 to josunelopezrodriguez@deusto.es and javier.arrieta@deusto.es, strictly following the guidelines provided at this link.
