A number of leading professionals are gathered at this meeting to discuss the detection and action in cases of mistreatment, the coordination of the necessary resources in intervention and the practical parameters of good care. All this in a context where the care of elderly people in vulnerable situations requires a taking closer look by all of us: administration, professionals and society at large, in order to prevent and/or identify potential mistreatment situations this group of people may be suffering.
