Presentation of the electric and intelligent motorcycle designed to participate in Smart Moto Challenge

On Tuesday, 7 July, engineering students from the University of Deusto will be presenting the Spider X-15 motorcycle, a prototype of an electric and intelligent vehicle they have designed over six months to participate in the Smart Moto Challenge international competition. A team made up of 20 students, captained by students Urko Vilariño and Alazne Aguirre will take part in the event, accompanied by Inés Jacob, Dean of the Engineering Faculty.

Following this presentation, which will be held at 10:00 at the entrance of the Engineering Faculty, the team will set off to Barcelona, where the first test run of the motorcycle will be done at the Montmelo track. This is the first time that the University of Deusto will be taking part in this competition together with other 15 universities. It will also be the first time that Basque university students will be participating in this competition, the second stage of which will be held in Moscow next October.
