The 21st Family Business Seminar, organised by Deusto Business School and the Antonio Aranzábal Foundation, will be held on Thursday, 13 May, under the title: “Imagen de la empresa familiar“, with the participation of the following speakers:

-Javier Beistegui. Manager and member of the fourth generation of Beistegui Hermanos, today BH. The Beistegui brothers set up a workshop in Eibar in 1909, which was later moved to Vitoria-Gasteiz in 1959. Since the 1920s, they have been producing bicycles and in 1985, they created a fitness equipment division with developments focused on machines for professional and domestic use. Since 2008, they have been committed to electric bicycles with their own patents on motors, batteries and integration, adding this line to conventional bicycles. Thanks to its factory in Portugal and its commercial subsidiaries, it is present in more than 85 countries.

-José Miguel Munilla. CEO of RMDGroup. RMDGroup focuses on the design, manufacture and marketing of high value-added capsules and screw caps for wine, spirits and champagne bottles. Its two brands: Ramondin in the capsule sector and Inspiral in the screw cap sector, position it as the undisputed leader in 5 of the 8 main wine markets worldwide. RMDGroup is a family-owned company with more than 130 years of history. It maintains its decision-making centre in Laguardia, Álava, in addition to 8 production centres located in the main international wine-producing countries and a global workforce of more than 800 people. The group exports more than 85% of its production and is distributed in 50 countries and to more than 6,000 customers.

-Susana Alejandro. Strategy and Corporate Development Director at Saica. This third generation family group was founded in 1943 as Sociedad Anónima Industrias Celulosa Aragonesa (Saica) in Zaragoza with 6 workers. Today, with its headquarters in Spain and more than 10,000 employees, the Saica Group is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of recycled paper for corrugated board, as well as efficient and sustainable high-quality packaging. With production facilities in nine countries, it operates in four business areas: Saica Natur, Saica Paper, Saica Pack and Saica Flex.
