Competitiveness Conference 2023: Transition to sustainable competitiveness

What factors should we take into account in order to implement strategies to tackle the sustainable transition? What are the current conditions in the Basque Country to make progress in environmental sustainability? What are the levers on which action should be taken to obtain the desired environmental, economic and social results?

At Orkestra we believe that our framework for territorial competitiveness for wellbeing offers a holistic vision that can help to better understand this complexity. Therefore, in the Basque Country Competitiveness Report 2023 we will explore the levers that can accelerate our transition towards green competitiveness.

The Report will be presented at the Competitiveness Conference to be held on 20 November at 16:00, at the Kursaal in Donostia-San Sebastián. Will you join us?

16:10 • Decarbonisation of European heavy industries: Challenges and chances for long term competitiveness. Keynote by Stefan Lechtenböhmer, Professor at the Kassel Institute for Sustainability (Germany) and Adjunct Professor at Lund University (Sweden). His research and teaching focus on energy and climate policy, especially at national and sub-national levels.
